Our advice service is currently paused for new referrals from Monday, 10th March, and will resume on Tuesday, 1st April 2025.

Important Update for Carers
Service Transfer from Carers First to City & Hackney Carers Centre
Following a recent tender process, as of 01 April 2025, City & Hackney Carers Centre (CHCC) will be commissioned by the London Borough of Hackney to deliver the Carers Support Service for Unpaid Adult Carers.
CHCC will be taking over delivery of the service from Carers First who will continue to provide you with support until 31 March 2025.
WHAT WE DO
City and Hackney Carers Centre works to support the unmet practical, emotional and social needs of carers.
An unpaid carer is someone of any age who, without payment, provides care and support to a partner, friend, relative or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This may be due to a physical or learning disability, a mental health condition, long term illness, frailty, addiction or substance misuse.
